Ceramic fibre products have many uses because they reflect heat rather that than absorbing it. They are useful in controlling the shape and flow of hot glass in a kiln in ways other materials can not. Fibre Paper can be placed on a kiln shelf instead of kiln wash. Fibre Blanket can be shaped for use as a slumping mold. These useful and versatile products do have one drawback, breathing the free fibres presents a health hazard. Always use an OSHA approved respirator whenever this material is being used. In 610mm wide rolls, sold by metre lengths.
